    YOUR IMPACT

    The VP of Personal Training at Crunch Fitness will be responsible for overseeing and driving the strategic vision and execution of our industry-leading personal training program across our growing global franchisee network. This role requires an innovative leader who can enhance member experience and maintain Crunch’s leadership position in fitness. The leader will collaborate with franchise owners, Personal Training Director (direct report), and the Operations Organization to deliver results. This is a high visibility role at the forefront of maintaining Crunch’s position as the leader in innovative, member focused personal training.

    MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Franchise Performance

    Own the Personal Training P&L with a focus on continually improving new gym opening performance and sustaining it over the long term with mature clubs.

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with franchise owners, understanding their needs and challenges, and offer tailored solutions for success.

    Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., client retention, trainer utilization, revenue targets) to drive continuous improvement.

    Collaborate with regional and location-level leadership to ensure alignment with broader business goals.

    Establish and model practices that promote operational excellence, ensuring all franchises have the tools, knowledge, and skills needed to execute Crunch’s mission with excellence.

    Implement impactful training programs that enable franchise business partners to be trained to the highest standards, reflecting the Crunch Fitness brand and values.

    Conduct regular assessments of personal training programming across all locations to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with the operations team.

    Analyze and report on key performance metrics related to personal training participation, member satisfaction, and franchisee profitability.

    Program Development & Implementation

    Demonstrate deep understanding of industry trends in personal training to anticipate future needs.

    Oversee the development and continuous improvement of technology products that support the growth of the personal training business.

    Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about program adjustments and new initiatives.

    Develop and manage the personal training budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

    Develop and implement a comprehensive, state-of-the-art personal training strategy that is aligned with Crunch Fitness’s overall business objectives and enables Crunch to stay ahead of the competition.

    Drive alignment with the operations team to enable franchise business partners to drive franchise buy-in and execution of personal training programs.

    Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about program adjustments and new initiatives.

    Leadership, Compliance & Brand Alignment

    Cultivate a results-driven, high-performance culture by leading teams in ways that foster accountability, inclusiveness, collaboration, innovation, operational excellence, and alignment with company objectives, while maintaining the highest levels of employee engagement and development.

    Serve as a key advocate and brand ambassador, modeling Crunch’s core values, while strengthening community engagement and customer loyalty through strategic leadership.

    Champion the integrity of the Crunch brand by ensuring adherence to brand standards at every touchpoint, delivering an unmatched, consistent, high-quality experience across all locations.

    Inspire, mentor, and empower personal training director(s), driving innovation and the development of cutting-edge programs that elevate the brand’s reputation and service standards.

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

    Consistent Growth in Personal Training Revenue: Franchise locations meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.

    Innovation and Differentiation: New programs and training modalities are successfully launched and adopted, positioning the brand as a leader in fitness and wellness.

    Data-Driven Decision Making: Performance metrics and member insights are actively used to refine strategy and improve outcomes.

    High Member Engagement and Satisfaction: Personal training programs receive strong participation rates and positive feedback, contributing to overall member retention.

    Operational Consistency Across Locations: Standardized processes and quality benchmarks are implemented and maintained, ensuring a seamless experience regardless of location.

    Trainer Development and Retention: Personal trainers are engaged, well-trained, and supported, resulting in low turnover and a strong internal talent pipeline.

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED

    Bachelor’s degree in business, Fitness Management, or a relevant field. Master’s degree preferred

    Minimum of 10 years of senior experience in fitness or related industry

    Valid NASM or equivalent certification

    Proven track record of developing and executing successful personal training strategies in a multi-location environment

    Strong understanding of franchise operations and the unique challenges faced by franchisees

    Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels

    Proficiency in analyzing data to drive business decisions

    Ability to travel frequently to support club locations

    Must be able to travel up to 50%
