    Job Description

    The Vice President of Practice Management is responsible for leading and overseeing the operational, strategic, and client service functions within the wealth management and advisory practices. This leadership role focuses on optimizing the performance of financial advisors, streamlining operations, and enhancing client experience. The VP of Practice Management will play a key role in aligning business practices with the firm’s strategic goals, fostering advisor development, and implementing best practices among newly acquired and current client teams to ensure the highest level of client service and regulatory compliance.

    In addition, they are responsible for M &A Transitions that leads the onboarding and integration of new advisor teams and their clients to the Moneta platform. In-depth knowledge of Moneta processes, custodian requirements, and advisory team needs are critical for success in the role.

    Practice Management:

    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive practice management strategy to drive efficiency, team productivity, and client satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align practice management initiatives with broader organizational goals.

    • Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, service offerings, and technology enhancements to improve operational capabilities.

    Operational Oversight

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations processes for multiple wealth management practices at Moneta, ensuring alignment with firm policies and industry regulations.

    • Standardize processes across the teams to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

    • Drive the adoption of technology solutions, including CRM and portfolio management

    Technology & Innovation

    • Drive the adoption and integration of new technologies and tools that enhance practice management operations, advisor efficiency, and client engagement.

    • Stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in financial services practice management.

    • Lead data-driven decision-making using analytics and performance metrics to continuously improve practice operations.

    M &A Transitions:

    _ Duties & Responsibilities_

    • Create client onboarding and, if applicable, custodian transition plan. Oversee progress, provide regular updates, resolve issues, and communicate needs in an effective and timely manner
    • Guide onboarding advisor team through changes in workflow for successful adoption of Moneta processes
    • Coordinate on-site visits and training opportunities for remote employees to St. Louis home office
    • Work closely with custodian contacts and firm-level departments to ensure smooth transition for clients and advisor team to provided service offerings
    • Oversee transition of required data and records to Moneta systems
    • Work alongside advisor team to manage the volume of client servicing needs pre and post-transition
    • Manage Transition Support Specialist, setting expectations and timelines of task execution
    • Flexibility to travel for onsite support and project management (approximately 25-30%)
    • Identify efficiencies in existing processes and procedures to foster continuous improvement for onboarding process and advisor teams
    • Stay up to speed with Moneta processes/systems, client servicing needs, and custodian requirements to accurately guide new Moneta teams through the transition
    • Assist in managing the queue of prospect information, keep all data up to date, and creates reporting
    • Help create marketing campaigns and plan networking events for prospective firms and advisors
    • Present transition timelines and Transition Team offerings to prospective firms and advisors
    • Fosters an environment of open, honest, and timely communication
    • Ensures the vision and core values of Moneta Group are incorporated into the duties and responsibilities of the position
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or advisory practice management
    • Minimum of 5 years project leadership experience
    • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFP, CEPA, CFA) are preferred
    • Proficiency in financial software, CRM systems, and portfolio management platforms
