$250,000–$400,000 Base Salary + Performance-Based Incentives
Position Overview
A growing insurance brokerage is seeking a proven VP of Sales to lead revenue growth, sales strategy, and organizational expansion.
This individual will oversee the Sales Director and broader sales organization while partnering closely with ownership to drive business growth. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated track record of generating substantial revenue, building and leading high-performing sales teams, and playing a significant role in scaling an insurance business.
Candidates may come from either the Employee Benefits/Health Insurance or Property & Casualty (P&C) sectors and may have experience on either the brokerage or carrier side of the industry.
The Ideal Candidate
Proven insurance executive with a history of driving significant revenue growth
Experience managing sales leadership and multi-layered sales organizations
Demonstrated success helping scale an insurance business, division, or region
Strong business development capabilities and industry relationships
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive accountability
Experienced recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent
Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented, and highly motivated
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute company-wide sales and growth strategies
Oversee and mentor the Sales Director and broader sales organization
Drive revenue growth through new business development and market expansion
Recruit, build, and develop high-performing sales teams
Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and accountability measures
Evaluate and improve sales processes, performance, and infrastructure
Partner with ownership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Must-Haves
Extensive experience within the insurance industry
Background in Employee Benefits, Health Insurance, or Property & Casualty (P&C)
Experience on either the brokerage side or carrier side
Proven track record of leading substantial revenue growth
Experience managing sales leaders and large sales teams
History of helping scale an insurance organization or business unit
Strong leadership, operational, and business development skills
