We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Vice President of Sales for our Missy division. The ideal candidate will bring extensive contacts in the women’s off-price market and other retail chain stores. If you have a passion for fashion, a flair for customer service, and the drive to exceed ambitious sales targets, we’d love to connect.
Position Overview As VP of Sales, you’ll introduce new retail partners to our brand and build a high-performing sales organization. You’ll open doors with department stores, off-price retailers, big-box chains, specialty retailers, and emerging e-commerce platforms. Once those relationships are established, you’ll lead the strategy to expand each account and hire experienced Sales Managers who can replicate your success nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a new-business growth plan targeting untapped retail channels.
Leverage existing senior-level relationships to secure initial orders and establish long-term partnerships.
Recruit, mentor, and retain Sales Managers, setting clear goals and performance incentives.
Establish pricing, margin, and product-mix strategies that meet retailer objectives while maintaining company profitability.
Maintain executive relationships with key buyers and divisional merchandise managers.
Collaborate closely with Design, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure samples, packaging, and deliveries meet specifications and timelines.
Track pipeline activity in CRM systems and provide concise weekly updates and board-level forecasts.
What You Bring
At least 10 years of successful experience selling women’s apparel at scale.
Senior-level buyer contacts that you can activate immediately.
Proven track record of securing new accounts and driving year-over-year growth.
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing sales talent.
Deep knowledge of wholesale economics, compliance requirements, and complex program negotiations.
Confident, persuasive communication skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
