Looking for a Vice President or Senior Vice President for Leveraged Finance Workout position with 7–15 years of experience in Leveraged Finance Workout with a Major Private Credit Firm in New York, Chicago or Charlotte.

The Leveraged Finance Workout team at this Premier Private Credit Firm focuses on managing troubled and stressed credits across senior and junior debt as well as equity exposures. The Vice President or Senior Vice President will serve as a key point person in managing complex credit situations, restructurings, amendments, and recovery processes while working closely with underwriting teams, financial advisors, restructuring counsel, loan syndicate members and other stakeholders.

This role requires a relationship-oriented professional who can drive and manage credit risk, and collaborate across internal teams to achieve optimal results for loans in workout.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as point person on a portfolio of troubled credits requiring amendments, restructurings, or workout solutions
• Evaluate restructuring alternatives and develop creative capital structure solutions.
  

Credit Analysis & Transaction Execution

• Work closely with underwriting teams to assess borrower performance and future prospects.
• Analyze financial statements, liquidity, leverage, cash flow, and enterprise valuations.
  

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Interact with restructuring counsel, financial advisors, management teams, and Board members throughout the restructuring process.
• Participate in Steering Committees and restructuring negotiations.
  

Experience

• 7–15 years of experience in Leveraged Finance Workout.
• Prior experience in Workout, Troubled Credit Management & Leveraged Finance.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record.
  

Skills

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, well versed in corporate finance, accounting, and financial statement analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a rigorous environment.
