Our employees proudly serve as trusted advisors and innovative problem solvers for our clients. We are seeking a HR Administrator to join our diverse and talented team. This position is remote for local candidates only. There will be occasional days in office.

    Position Overview:

    VPD’s HR Administrator is responsible for managing human resources functions within our organization. The role involves ensuring compliance with government regulations, overseeing employee relations, and supporting HR processes related to government contracts. Here's an overview of the key responsibilities and qualifications:

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting in the new hire process to include creating offer letters, handling background checks, onboarding new hires

    • Assist in terminations to include exit letters and updating HRIS system

    • Handling all training that includes set up and tracking employees

    • Reviewing bills for accuracy

    • Assisting payroll with ensuring reimbursements are paid and attending bi-weekly payroll meetings

    • Assisting Director with projects

    Qualifications:

    • High School education with at least 5+ years of experience or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience

    • U.S. Citizenship required

    • Must be close to the Washington DC area
