POSITION OVERVIEW:
The SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR provides specialized expertise within SharePoint Farm and Site Collection administration as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze technical requirements and develop effective technical solutions
- Performing SharePoint user management and group management
- Developing solutions for business process automation
- Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint features and functionalities
- Design and develop custom SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, views, workflows, and scripts.
- Promote user adoption through user and site manager training, consultation, and support of existing SharePoint functionality
- Provide quality assurance review of engagement processes and deliverables
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, provide support to the system’s end-users, and work with development teams to find ways to modify or improve storage procedures
- Participate in delivering technical presentations to customer
- Develop new workflows, and customer coding to support migrations to SharePoint Online
- Regularly interface with senior management, stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractors to provide insight on project status, business requirements, functional design and remediation of risks/issues to avoid loss of business functionality during SharePoint (SP) migration effort
- Meet/interview customer to capture specific requirements in concise format
- Determine options and provide a coordinated approach to managing the planning of services performing the actual conversion or rebuilding of exiting forms, tools and workflows to function in the new environment
- Perform other related duties needed to achieve VPD and/or customer mission success
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University or College
- 3 years’ experience with SharePoint (2013, 2019, SPO), Power Platforms or Workflow development
- Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization)
- Knowledgeable with web parts development, management, and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations
- Experience with Power BI data visualization tool
- Must have an active public trust or clearance
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- U.S. Citizenship required
DESIRED:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 360 including Visio
- Basic Graphic Design Skills - whether in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva

WORK LOCATION: Hybrid (3 to 4 days remote, 1 to 2 day on site in Washington, DC) – U.S. CUSTOMS & BORDER PROTECTION
