Position Overview:
The Junior Acquisition Support Specialist **** will support the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) office in a mid-level acquisition role, utilizing FAR knowledge to perform acquisitions including full and open, GWACs, and BPAs. **

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in special projects, track and monitor special projects.
- Provide budget support, consolidate data for the presentation of the budget and provide a viable overview of the financial status of operations.
- Responsible for assisting in the analysis and preparation of acquisition documentation working closely with various teams as well as outside vendors to meet project requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4 years work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
- Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust
- U.S. Citizenship required
Desired
- Experience with PRISM
- Good organization and writing skills
- Acquisition/contracting experience
