Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends) Pay: $17.50–$21.00 per hour (based on credentials and experience) Sign On Bonus: $500 (Credentials, Experience and Schedule*)

About the Role

The Learning Experience – Rivercrest is seeking a passionate and dedicated VPK/Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of children ages 3–5 years. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude, strong classroom presence, and a growth mindset—someone who truly loves helping children learn, play, and grow.

You’ll be part of a supportive team in a fun, engaging, and professional early childhood environment where quality education and strong relationships with families matter.

What You’ll Do

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment

Lead classroom instruction for children ages 4–5 using our proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and activities

Complete observations, assessments, and documentation as required

Ensure the health, safety, and supervision of all children at all times

Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication, our mobile app, and in-person conversations

Collaborate with center leadership and teaching team to support enrollment, engagement, and family satisfaction

Model professionalism, positivity, and a love of learning for both children and teammates

Be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and actively engage with children

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

ECE coursework, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education preferred

Must meet Florida DCF licensing requirements for the position

DCF 45 Hours required (or willingness to complete)

Florida VPK required courses (or willingness to complete, as applicable)

National CDA or Florida Staff Credential required if no Early Childhood degree

CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Must be able to work a full-time schedule (5 days per week)

Must pass all required background checks and screenings per state and company policy
