WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

VRRB Labs Inc is seeking an experienced distributed systems engineer with experience in building complex, data driven systems in which speed and security are important

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help guide our overall strategy through design and development.
• Creative thinker with a passion for solving previously unsolvable problems.
• Willingness to speak up, check others blind spots, call a spade a spade.
• Ability to motivate team members
• Report directly to our CEO/Founder.
• Manage a team of 6 engineers. Provide regular feedback and support.
• Design unit and integration testing framework.
• Wear multiple hats/get hands dirty when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience as Distributed Systems Engineer, preferably with management experience
• 3+ years writing Rust code
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep understanding of consensus algorithms and leaderless elections
• Proven record of shipping features on time and on budget
• Flexible and focussed on solutions
• Organized and self-sufficient
• Passion for blockchain
