    VuePoint Diagnostics is looking for a Controller to join our team!

    VuePoint was built from the ground up to provide highly experienced, agile response teams to help health plans and providers address health service needs and reduce critical access to care issues, particularly in this post-Covid world. From our beginning we set and now maintain a patient-focused, higher-standard of service that our patients and clients deserve.

    GENERAL PURPOSE:

    The Controller is responsible for the company's day-to-day execution, ensuring accounting records are accurate and in line with generally accepted accounting principles. This individual will report to the CEO and work directly with leaders of all functional departments to assist in reporting and analyzing financial and operational results. This position includes responsibility for all daily activities, and the development of, a team of accounting employees.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Lead a departmental close schedule that meets the needs of both the internal departments (Finance, Revenue and Collections, Financial Reporting and Tax). Demonstrate flexibility in meeting both internal and external reporting needs. Partner with CEO and other leadership to drive efficiencies in the monthly and quarter-end close process. Achieve the preliminary draft financial statements in 10 business days.

    • Integrate the accounting function of acquired companies into the Vuepoint Diagnostics systems and processes and take responsibility for the accurate accounting of acquired companies prior to integration.

    • Develop accounting team culture and integrate accounting team with other department counterparts.

    • Work closely with the team to implement and continue the execution of key controls within areas of responsibility.

    • Develop and lead a structured process for documenting and reconciling all significant balance sheet accounts in line with Vuepoint Diagnostic's reconciliation policy.

    • Deliver effective customer service to the Finance, Revenue and Collections, Financial Reporting, and other teams to include responsiveness to team member questions, delivery of financial close on time and in requested formats and classifications, within GAAP requirements.

    Grow team member knowledge bases via participation in the financial review scrub process and partnering with these teams. Build and lead a mindset of collaboration and service within corporate accounting.

    ** POSITION DESCRIPTION**

    • Deliver timely, accurate and complete schedules to any applicable external auditors on agreed-upon dates in order to support successful quarterly reviews and the annual audit.

    ** BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    Responsibility for ensuring accounting department vendors and/or staff under Controller responsibility and supervision remain within approved budgets. Proactively meet with the CEO and other leadership regarding risks and solutions to meeting budget.

    ** QUALIFICATIONS:**

    • 5+ years of relevant job experience with the most recent experience in a Controller role

    • Managerial experience

    • Accounting degree, CPA preferred.
