    Job Description:

    As a Strategic Business & Data Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in leveraging mathematical analyses for sustainability, operational efficiency, and strategic positioning. Your role involves crafting executive-level presentations, conducting thorough market research, and analyzing complex data sets to inform strategic decisions and enhance our market competitiveness. Bridging business strategy and environmental insights, you'll contribute to optimizations and opportunities, making a substantial impact at the intersection of business and environmental sustainability.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor business performance and provide timely insights.
    • Create and deliver reports and presentations that communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize business processes and enhance decision-making.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and provide analytical support to address challenges and opportunities.
    • Opportunity Identification and sizing to set goals and help evaluate potential opportunities, support forecasting, and opportunity sizing. This will help business stakeholders evaluate trade-offs in different approaches and create targets for driving business performance.
    • Be the voice of the consumer. Effectively communicate both quantitative and qualitative findings with timely, relevant, and actionable insights to support tactical short-term and long-term strategic decision-making.
    • Present complex information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including executive levels in the company.
    • Translate strategic business questions into data-informed insights by proactively exploring analytics resources & requirements.
    • Act as a liaison to data engineering teams - communicating project goals, business needs, and deadlines in order to organize, innovate, and optimize our datasets efficiently.
    • Perform complex mathematical calculations to analyze data related to carbon footprint, power consumption, operational efficiencies, and other key performance indicators.
    • Develop and maintain sophisticated data models to support decision-making.
    • Design and develop high-level executive PowerPoint presentations, incorporating deep data analysis, charts, graphs, and cross-referencing to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management effectively.
    • Compile and present comprehensive case studies and white papers, synthesizing data, market research, and analysis into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, market research, or a similar strategic analyst role.
    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint).
    • Experience with data visualization tools to create insightful reports and dashboards.
    • Solid understanding of business processes and strategy and the ability to align data analysis with organizational goals.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to perform complex mathematical calculations and develop sophisticated data models.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in creating high-level executive presentations.
    • Ability to conduct comprehensive market and competitor research.
    • Experience in compiling case studies and white papers is highly desirable, especially in the environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering fields.
    • Knowledge of sustainability and environmental impact analysis is a plus.
    • Ability to extract and combine data with other data sources to develop a rich, complete picture of the business.
    • Ability to work rapidly and efficiently in a fast-paced and changing environment.
