Servicing various industries and markets worldwide, including Real Estate & Aquatics, Municipal & Wastewater Treatment, Food & Beverage, and Oil & Gas, our focus is on recovering and recycling different waters in a centralized or distributed way. The company also provides recreational quality water for artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, surf parks, and ultra-pure and potable water for various uses.
VVater seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in various aspects of civil engineering, including project design, construction management, site inspection, and analysis. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a solid technical background and a passion for civil engineering.
This is an hourly paid internship; the working hours are 32-40 per week.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing and developing civil engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure design specifications and safety standards compliance.
• Assist in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using engineering software and tools.
• Collaborate with team members to solve engineering problems and address project challenges.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Assist in the coordination of project activities and communication with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Perform administrative tasks and support the engineering team as needed.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus.
