Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client who is looking to add a Junior Staff Accountant to their team. They are located near Beverly Hills, Ca and hoping to find an entry level accounting associate who is eager to learn, ready to jumpstart their career in the accounting field, and ready to start as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

• Complete financial transactions and accounting processes, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
• Assist with month-end close and update chart of accounts
• Prepare bank statements and perform journal entries
• Assist with ERP system implementation
• Maintain fixed assets and help with financial reporting
• Provide additional accounting support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field)
• 0+ years of previous accounting experience, internship experience a plus!
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and professional attitude
• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or Payroll preferred but not required
