Vagaro is looking for an accounting intern to join our Finance Team! As our accounting intern, you will have many opportunities to add value to our growing organization and accounting functions. You will help perform our month-end close, work on special projects, and help identify and implement improvements to our existing processes including building out financial reporting capabilities. You will obtain exposure to day to day accounting operations that support the entire organization ranging from processing of accounts payable, recording journal entries and preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Have an inherent interest in Accounting
• To help document all accounting process and procedure.
• Help in organizing audit and tax folders
• Participate in basic data entries as part of month end close
• Work cross-functionally across the organization to develop an understanding of the business and provide input on special projects to increase efficiencies and streamline processes
• Build reports and analytics for the department

Qualifications:

• Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and partner with different teams
• A great communicator with focus and attention to detail
• Problem solver
• Great analytical skills (such as Trend & Variance Analysis)
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Working towards a B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or related field
