    Position summary

    Valaurum is growing rapidly, and we are looking to hire a Customer Success Manager. Our ideal candidate will help existing customers navigate our product development, order process, and delivery timelines. They will also identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and provide suggestions for product improvements and revenue enhancement. This role will also work closely with the executive team to develop processes and strategy for expanding the sales team at Valaurum. This is a supervisory position that reports to the SVP of Marketing and Operations.

    Responsibilities

    Manage Account Representatives and other sales staff

    Work closely with the SVP Marketing and Operations and President to determine strategy for managing high-level accounts

    Provide customer support for Valaurum’s largest and highest-profile accounts

    Assist in managing departmental workflow and ensuring that employees understand their responsibilities and assigned tasks

    Participate in various trade association meetings and conventions.

    Efficiently respond to, qualify, and educate inbound marketing leads and outbound generated leads

    Engage with prospects and articulate the product in an effective manner

    Lead efforts in building sustainable marketing and sales processes and procedures

    Solicit and develop new accounts as assigned

    Work closely with the Production Planner on prioritization of client orders

    Work directly with marketing team to drive continuous improvement in lead quality conversion rates and pipeline generation

    Work with leadership, marketing team, production team, and distribution partners to develop products for different markets

    Ensure a proactive approach to learning, testing, and iterating

    Act as an important feedback point for marketing, helping to develop the best performing materials, activities, and processes

    Research prospective clients through various sources (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, etc.)

    Travel requirement of 5-15%

    Requirements or equivalent experience

    Experience with trade shows

    Customer service experience

    Experience with triaging and qualifying leads

    Experience working with marketing and leadership teams to qualify and convert opportunities

    Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

    Possess strong stakeholder management skills

    Sufficient formal and/or informal training to provide the ability to read and write at a level consistent with the requirements of the position

    Any combination of training and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described; a typical qualifying background would include experience working in an office environment

    Knowledge of: English grammar, punctuation, and spelling; basic mathematics; standard types of office filing systems, proper telephone etiquette and techniques; standard office software applications; standard office equipment

    Ability to: Accurately type and learn to efficiently use various software applications; perform basic research and report results; learn and follow standard office procedures; learn appropriate filing and recordkeeping systems; select appropriate written business formats

    Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deliverables at a given time

    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    Can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

    Preferred experience

    Experience with precious metals or currency

    Highly proficient with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook

    Experienced with project management software (Basecamp or similar)

    Advanced problem solving and analytical skills

    Proficiency with remote conferencing

    $85,000-95,000 DOE
