    Your job:

    The Cyber Security Sourcer is primarily tasked with assisting the Lead Cyber Security Sourcer with the achievement of leading, planning, and designing all projects pertaining to the candidate/client acquisition process to Valen Solutions staffing and recruiting team. The Sourcer is responsible for building professional relationships, searching with Boolean skills, and pipelining candidates in our Cyber-Security market that are hard to find. The Sourcer must utilize and join internet and in-person groups geared towards candidates that fit the roles of Chief Information Security Officers, Architects, and Engineers with skills. The Sourcer must also attend networking events to acquire candidates and gain business with clients through conversation. The Sourcer must be able to present the “perfect” or “best fit” candidate on a need basis when there is an urgent need to fill a position for a job order.

    Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

    Compensation:

    • Commission: We offer a competitive commission with multiple opportunities for career growth. Employees are eligible for commission on day one of their employment.

    • Bonuses:Effective upon satisfactory completion of the first 90 days of employment and based upon the goals and objectives you may be eligible for a bonus. Bonuses are distributed quarterly on the last day of each month and are accumulated each month.

    Accountability: Reporting directly to the Lead Cyber Security Sourcer, responsible for personal sourcing performance, customer satisfaction results, and overall company growth.

    About you - Responsibilities include:


    • Weekly sourcing/recruiting meetings, training sessions etc.

    • Scheduling calls with candidates and senior staff

    • Identifying new potential candidates and clients

    • Finding events to attend to generate leads

    • Attend networking and /sourcing/recruiting events to generate business

    • Track progress

    • Meet sourcing goals

    Requirements/Qualifications


    • Build relationships with CISO’s and candidates.

    • Finds, pipelines (and sometimes screen) talent/candidates

    • Demonstrates analytical skills, performs as a researcher, is great at doing internet searches, has great communication skills, and personable.

    • Receive instructions from management, recruiting team, or Business Development and review company data as well as (JDs) Job Descriptions.

    • Search websites/groups to seek candidates and clientele e.g. LinkedIn, social media platforms, job boards.

    • Find candidates and candidate resumes and add to the ATS.

    • Attend networking events 2-3 times a month.

    • Call, email and Pre-Screen the candidates, gather information and tag and/or put the candidates in pipelines within the ATS.

    • Schedule an introduction/profile or interview (sometimes with the recruiter depending on your process), put it on the calendar and within ATS.

    • Converse with the recruiter and give support if needed to acquire candidates.

    • Must be at least 18+ years old

    • Preferred prior sourcing/recruiting experience

    • High school diploma or GED required

    • Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

    • Computer Skills: Basic skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Google suite
