Job Description: Valet Attendant

Do you enjoy the outdoors and love working with people? Looking to earn extra cash this ski season while working weekends? United Parking LLC is seeking local talent for valet service at the Hermitage Ski Resort at Haystack Mountain in Wilmington, VT. If you’re passionate about cars and skiing, we want to hear from you!

As a valet, you’ll provide exceptional "5-star" customer service to all guests at the ski resort. Join a fun team in a lively atmosphere! We’re specifically looking for local staff from Wilmington or nearby areas. This position primarily involves weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday), but you can expect close to full-time hours, leaving you plenty of time for fun during the week. The seasonal role runs from early December to mid-April, depending on weather conditions, with bonus pay at the end of the season!

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor upon arrival and departure.

Deliver outstanding "5-star" customer service to all members and guests.

Collaborate effectively with management and team members.

Stay alert to opportunities to enhance guest service.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Experience driving manual transmission preferred.

Ability to jog short distances.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Flexible availability for weekend shifts (days/nights).

Clean driving record and background check.

Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Primary Location: Wilmington, Vermont area Job Level: Valet Attendant Schedule: Shifts are primarily on weekends and holidays, starting in the early morning and lasting into the afternoon. This is a seasonal role from December 5th to mid-April. Compensation: Starting at $13.67 per hour, plus a guaranteed tip rate of $5.00 per hour, totaling at least $18.67 or more, depending on tips. Starting January 1st, the minimum wage increases to $14.01, plus a $5.00 per hour guarantee for a minimum of $19.01. Remember, these numbers are just the absolute minimum you will make. History has shown that with tips the average hourly is in the lower to middle 20's.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Pay: $18.67 - $24.00+ per hour, including cash tips

Bonus Structure:

Work 300 to 450 hours this season and receive an additional $0.50 per hour worked as a bonus.

Work over 450 hours this season and receive an additional $1.00 per hour as a bonus.
