Position Summary
The Valet Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. As one of the first and last points of contact, this role plays a critical part in creating a positive and memorable guest experience that reflects the elevated standards of TWELVE® Hotels & Residences.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and departure, providing a welcoming and professional first impression
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist guests with luggage, directions, and general inquiries about the property and local area
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle keys and ensure proper key control procedures
- Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage and report findings according to company procedures
- Ensure valet area is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies when operating guest vehicles
- Communicate effectively with Front Desk and Concierge teams to ensure seamless guest service
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Support additional front-of-house duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous valet, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand, walk, run, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
