    Global Parking Systems Kansas City Operations’ administrative offices are located the Kansas City (MCI) Airport, 601 Brasillia Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri.

    Scope of Position

    The Valet Driver is responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to customers when they arrive and leave.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The Valet Driver is responsible for performing the essential duties and responsibilities listed below:

    Resolving client requests and concerns efficiently, finding new ways to solve problems that may arise, and communicating proactively with clients

    Inspecting every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings

    Explaining valet rates to customers

    Observing traffic laws and safe driving practices

    Reporting all accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management

    Knowing the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure customers have a seamless transportation experience

    Arriving to work in a clean uniform every scheduled shift, on time, and ready to work

    Remaining in complete uniform for the entirety of your shift

    Assisting management with additional duties as assigned

    Starting Hourly Range of Pay

    The starting rate for the Valet Driver position is $15.50 hourly.

    Certifications and Licenses

    The individual selected for the Valet Driver position must possess a:

    Valid state issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record

    Requirements of Position

    The individual selected for the Valet Driver will be required to:

    Safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift)

    Work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends)

    Provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints

    Read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos

    Follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working

    Appearance Requirements

    The individual selected for the Valet Driver position must adhere to the appearance standard as outlined below:

    Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times

    While performing the duties of the Valet Driver position, the individual selected for this position will be regularly required to:

    Stand

    Walk

    Use hands to handle cash and equipment

    The individual will be occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.

    The individual may be required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

    Education Requirements

    The individual selected for the Valet Driver position must possess:

    A High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)

    A minimum of six (6) months related experience or training or

    A combination of education and experience
