    Come join our award-winning team as an overnight Valet/Houseman Associate at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City. Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, OVERNIGHT 11pm-7am. Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test. Pay is hourly with potential for tips.

    As a overnight valet/houseman, you'll combine your ability to keep a watchful eye during the lower business period with your people skills, greeting travelers arriving in the middle of the night and ensuring their needs are met. Guests will feel at ease when they leave their car with you or request for a car to be ready for their early departure.

    Duties include:

    Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.

    Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.

    Responsible for the cleanliness of hotel public guest areas/public restrooms.

    Assist with washing, folding and stocking linens.

    Deliver guest-requested amenities.

    Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.

    Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test.

    A calm, service-oriented demeanor.

    Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.

    Ability to effectively monitor hotel for any safety/security issues.

    Strong communication skills.

    This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, walking and running during high business levels to retrieve cars.

    High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
