Job Description
Valhalla Medics is a leading provider of onsite medical professionals for events and sets across NYC and nationally. We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! You will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bi-weekly payroll administration for full time employees and contractors
- Screen and recruit independent contractors for weekly in office orientations; work closely with operations team to assist with contractor retention
- Assist COO in implementing company culture, values and policies
- Provide management with requested reports and documents
- Assist COO with coordinating events focused on employee recognition
- Accurately maintain employee files
- Ad hoc projects related to general office management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
- Familiarity with payroll software Zenefits and ADP (preferred not required)
- Bachelors Degree (preferred not required)
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
