    COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

    HOLLY HUNT is a sales and service organization, as well as designer and maker of high-end interior design furniture, lighting, textiles, leather, and rugs. HOLLY HUNT’S “to the trade” customers are interior designers and architects. 85 to 90 percent of business revenue is generated from residential purchases, while 10 to 15 percent is generated from contract, corporate or hospitality purchases.

     

    POSITION PROFILE

    The Contract Sales Associate is Holly Hunt’s primary face to the contract client. Their goal is to assist the Specifier and Purchasing Agent with purchasing suggestions and decisions, maximize sales, and assure that Holly Hunt is easy to do business with. They must bring the experience of the showroom out to the client by setting up appointments and presentations with both contract and hospitality design firms.

     

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Seek new client relationships and nurture existing relationships with consistent follow-up.
    • Meet and exceed personal, territory and company sales goals.
    • Maintain a full calendar of appointments for presentation of new collections or corporate/vendor visits. Tailor sales materials to create concise and curated presentations for clients.
    • Make appointment to meet clients in showroom or client offices.
    • Manage leads, generate/follow up with detailed quotes, provide samples as needed, provide after sales follow-up.
    • Knowledge of the requirements needed in contract projects.
    • Knowledge of converting quotes to sales, handling payment/deposit, and securing documents necessary for order processing.
    • Provide direction to and coordinate with Customer Service.
    • Update client libraries, ensuring all clients in territory are presented with most-up-to-date products and resources available.
    • Submit Sales Call Report to GM weekly.
    • Set up weekly/monthly meetings with GM to review and strategize.
    • Submit Outlook Calendar appointments for the following week to Contract Support and CC sales team when applicable.
    • Work showroom sales floor to cover scheduled PTO of Sales Team when needed
    • Acknowledge every client that comes into the showroom anytime in the showroom
    • Be an expert on all products including how product is made, how it is maintained, how to customize, etc.
    • Stay informed of new HH products and market trends.
    • Effective working knowledge of Targit and Navision and any updates added to system.

     

    Required Skills

    • Organized, detailed oriented, and self-driven
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 2 plus years of sales related to interior design or contract industries
