    SUMMARY:

    This senior IT leadership role reports to the SVP/CIO and will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and strategic approach to the use of information technology assets and services across the enterprise, along with ensuring a consistent, transparent and efficient approach to the way the IT and/or Project Management organizations deliver value to the business. This role will successfully drive complex strategies and projects and will collaborate cross-functionally within technology to develop and manage resource plans, enabling the teams to execute and innovate at high speed and high quality

     

    PROFILE:

    • The Information Services business focuses on ensuring that the IT organization "does the right things" through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through organizational and operational model development and performance management.
    • Comprises strategy, governance, operations development, performance monitoring, portfolio management, strategic supplier management, and workforce management.
    • Serves as a trusted advisor/expert to internal business partners.
    • Drives a strategic approach to the use of IT across the enterprise. Provides for consistent, transparent and efficient delivery of IT services. Drives key projects including engagements, budgetary planning, and business analysis.
    • Works with the CIO and business leadership team, providing broad insight to IT domains and capabilities in support of enterprise wide business decisions.
    • Drives communications focused on reinforcement of the team’s mission, strategy, culture and process and employee engagement.
    • Understands the complexities of the department P&L, accruals, client allocations, and the impact of capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts in order to improve operational efficiency and productivity
    • Organizes and leads departmental centers of excellence. Plays a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process improvements, tools and coaching members of the teams as needed to optimize the efficiency of the departmental centers of excellence.
    • Provides leadership, professional development, and day-to-day support to staff.
    • Plans, leads, organizes, and motivates project teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering the credit union’s initiatives. Supervises the activities of the assigned resources from business, IT and vendor/consultants (if applicable) in order to ensure the project goals are being met. Provides advice/counsel to Senior/Executive Leadership Team regarding project portfolio capacity and stabilization issues.
    • Partners with leadership team to understand current and future data needs.
    • Fosters and creates value through data exploitation and envisioning data-enabled strategies, as well as enabling business outcomes through analytics, data and analytics governance, and enterprise information policies. Shortens the distance between questions and data-driven answers. Ensures best in class managing and delivering of data
    • Drives the development and deployment of the organization’s data and analytics platform for digital business. Leads the strategy and the development of data and analytics products and is a champion for a data-driven, decision-making culture.
    • Requires involvement in community activities, sponsored by TCU and others that will serve to enhance TCUs image and/or increase name recognition. Participates in TCU/community events per management level requirements.

    Required Experience

    • BA/BS in Business Administration, Computer Science or Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 8 years of demonstrated leadership experience building cross-organizational consensus with exposure to technology providers and/or business clients, preferably in the areas of Product Manager, Program Manager, or a Business Planning role within a technology setting
    • Minimum 7 years experience in strategy, stakeholder and project management
    • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience managing a high-performing, cohesive team.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
    • Experience working with external c-level partners and an understanding of consumer products, exchanges and platforms.
