    Job Description

ABOUT THE COMPANY As a holding company with cooperative and private ownership, URUS is a family of businesses at the heart of the dairy and beef industry Alta Genetics, GENEX, PEAK, SCCL and VAS. Each of these organizations has its own unique identity, products, and services. These companies work globally to provide cutting-edge dairy and beef genetics, customized reproductive services to maximize conceptions, dairy management information to take producers to the frontline of progressive dairy farming, and an array of products and services to help bovines reach their full genetic potential. URUS Group has 25 operating companies in 14 countries and employs approximately 2,000 people.

THE OPPORTUNITY This role is part of the URUS Management Trainee Program. The program is designed for fanatically driven, results-focused, high-impact performers that are early in their professional journeys and aiming to accelerate into leadership positions to ultimately create long-term careers. The program features three, 6-9 month rotations in various parts of the organization with full-time management-level placement after the program. Senior leadership team members serve as coaches and mentors to help program participants gain valuable on-the-job learning and development.

The Business Analyst (BA) will collaborate closely with URUS subsidiary businesses and key stakeholders. The BA will be responsible to help screen, vet, and close new acquisitions, products, and other business opportunities that meet the URUS' inorganic revenue and asset growth objectives, as well as create meaningful value for URUS' cooperative members and clients. The broader, long-term goal for the role is to help URUS reach its 10-year consolidated revenue and EBITDA targets faster than via organic revenue growth alone. Responsibility will reach across URUS' domestic and international markets, requiring effective teamwork with global business managers and sales channels to help them achieve their business and sales plans/targets as well as other key performance indicators (KPI's).
