ABOUT THE ROLE This Co-Op position is a great entry level role to gain exposure to a construction company. The Co-Op will be working closely with the Corporate Controller and Accounting Supervisor and will be tasked with important job set up functions and gain exposure and understanding to the accounts payable functions. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Set up jobs in the ERP system and ensure accuracy of location, taxes, etc. - Change orders - AP Entry - Maintain employee board as field employees join the team - Produce weekly job reports WHO YOU ARE - Experience: Ideal opportunity for a business major but could be for any major who is looking to gain exposure and experience with a construction company - Education: Highschool diploma required; Some college experience preferred - Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. - Reasoning and Development: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. - Language Development: Ability to read technical manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements are those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations: - The physical demands of this position require the ability to communicate orally and in writing, hear at a conversational level, use both hands, distinguish depth, and operate a motor vehicle. - While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently (34-66% time on job) be required to sit, use fingers.
