Valley Tire Co. is an independently owned and operated tire dealership and repair facility. We are a top 50 independent tire dealer in North America.

We have a Full time position available for a Commercial Tire technician at our Huber Heights location. Experience in the installation and repair of commercial truck tires, and knowledge of the aspects of a Commercial Tire Road Call are preferable, but we are willing to train if necessary. The ideal Tire Technician candidate will be TIA certified, but if not currently TIA certified, we will train to achieve this certification.

Primarily Daylight Hours

Location Hours 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fr

Commercial Tire Technician Responsibilities

Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed

Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services

Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required

Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement

Performs short road test to ensure proper installation

Reviews service with customer

Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations
