Billing Document Specialists, a division of Valli Information Systems is a growing technology company in Caldwell, ID seeking to hire a developer/programmer to join our team. If you enjoy working on a diverse group of projects, then this is the position for you. Job functions include but not limited to: -Analyze functional and technical requirements for the design and production of statement and invoice printing documents -Design, develop, test and deploy mission critical applications and document production workflows relying on our Open Print suite of products (3rd party print production software) as well as standard programming languages such as Python, Java and/or PHP -Integrate applications with third-party products and existing IT infrastructure -Working with our online electronic statement presentment and payment portals. -Maintain and increase technical skills and expertise on new products and versions Technical Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science/technology or related field preferred 2-5 years of experience in application development or software support preferred Proficient with at least one programming language (Python , PHP) Familiar with web technologies Tomcat, HTML5, React, CSS , XML, JavaScript, DataTables, Bootstrap, Laravel Familiar with version control systems like GIT and Bitbucket Proficient at shell scripting on Unix/Linux systems Proficient with Unix, Linux, and Windows Familiar with database operations and SQL language Personal and inter-personal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Enjoy inter-personal interaction and communication Logical, structured, organized and precise Creative and enjoy solving problems Excel at both working independently as well as in a group setting Eager to learn new things, discover and experiment Compensation/Benefits Competitive Salary based on experience Full time employees enjoy full benefits including: Medical Benefits: 100% medical insurance premiums paid for employee.
