    Job Summary:

    This position will be performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction activities.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Construction Engineering Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

    Experience:

    • One (1) year Field Engineering experience or Internship with Heavy Civil or Marine Construction group as Field Engineer Intern.

    Skills:

    • Proficient with wide range of software including, AutoCAD, Blue Beam, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, MS Project or P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
    • Ability to use mathematics and scientific rule/methods to solve problems.
    • Ability to determine the kinds of tools and equipment needed to complete a project.
    • Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, telephone, email, and presentations.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent verbal communications skills and ability to foster relationships with employees at all levels within the organization; ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives, and strong creative problem-solving skills are required.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadline situations, in a dynamic fast paced work environment.
    • Ability to work and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

    Physical Demands / Working Environment:

    • Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Working outdoors in various temperatures and conditions.
    • Wears various PPE (respirators, fall protection, etc.).
    • Will travel on various land, water and aircraft.
    • Will sit and stand for several hours at a time.
    • Lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, squatting for various periods of time.
    • Ability to relocate as needed.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of associates degree with 3 or more years of supervisory experience in a retail or financial setting
    • 1-3 years of experience in leading a team in a service or sales environment
    • Customer Service Experience
    • Competent computer skills
    • Proven success in a sales and service environment
    • Capable of managing and prioritizing a multitude of tasks
    • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
