    About OZK Vans

OZK Vans specializes in designing and building custom camper vans for customers who value adventure, mobility, and well-designed living spaces on the road.

As our project pipeline grows, we are building a bench of technicians with experience installing electrical and mechanical systems commonly used in camper van builds.

This posting is intended to identify candidates for future project opportunities as additional van builds are scheduled.

    Relevant experience may include:

    12V electrical systems

    Solar panel installations

    Wiring and fuse panels

    Water pumps and plumbing systems

    Vent fans and lighting systems

    Accessory installation

Candidates with automotive, marine, RV, or off-grid electrical experience often excel in this role.

    Typical Project Work

    Projects may include:

Installing electrical wiring and distribution systems

    Solar panel installation

    Battery and charging system setup

    Interior lighting and accessory installation

    Water systems and pumps

    Troubleshooting electrical systems

All work must meet high standards for safety, durability, and performance.

    Contractor Requirements

Hands-on electrical or mechanical installation experience

Ability to interpret wiring diagrams or installation plans

    Strong troubleshooting skills

    Valid driver’s license

    Personal tools preferred

    Interview Process

Our process includes a short phone conversation with our recruiting team.

Some candidates may be invited to participate in a casual lunch conversation at the shop with our Shop Manager and build team to discuss technical experience and shop culture.

Because we are currently building a candidate bench for future projects, there may be some time between interviews and project availability.

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor relationship. Contractors operate independently and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.

Submission of an application or participation in the interview process does not guarantee project work or engagement.
