    Our busy firm is looking for a medical records specialist with proven experience in efficiently acquiring medical, billing, and other records. A natural problem-solver, our ideal MRS can proactively secure and review records and accompanying affidavits for accuracy, review incoming records to identify additional needs and save and document according to our firm's procedures. If you are deadline-driven, an excellent and organized multi-tasker, and have meticulous attention to detail, don't wait to apply! We are looking to fill this position very quickly. Responsibilities: • Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality • Remain organized by closely adhering to procedure • Manage task reports to meet strict deadlines • Maintain ever-changing reprioritization • Verify record costs to avoid overpayment • Review incoming records for accuracy and to identify additional needs • Maintain diligent documentation • Communicate clearly and present accurate information Qualifications: • At least 3 years of experience with medical records required - experience in legal setting preferred • Medical record/release of information certification is desired but not required • At least 5 years of experience in a customer service-related setting is required • Impeccable data entry skills and attention to detail are necessary for success • Verifiable references required **Candidates are required to complete the DISC assessment following resume submission to complete the application process and to be seriously considered for this position.** Compensation: $40,000-$45,000 DOE
