    Do you want to help build a DevOps engine that will drive the success of a SaaS payments company? If so, we could use your help. We are a growing company aiming to build a world-class DevOps practice including cloud-based Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies, custom CI/CD pipelines, and security as an engineering discipline rather than an afterthought.

    We support several custom developed applications that make up our Software-as-a-Service platform in varying states of cloud transition ranging from native cloud from the ground up to on-premises systems needing assessment and migration. As a result, this position has excellent learning opportunities as we support modern applications and migrate others.

    This team will work closely with our Senior Cloud Architect who will provide mentoring and guidance. This person has extensive experience and a passion for creating a collaborative and transparent work environment.

    What you’ll be doing:

    The DevOps Engineer is crucial to the team as they implement Continuous Integration tools to receive feedback on applications. In this role, you will automate deployment of system configurations as well as create and maintain Infrastructure as Code in an Azure tenant. You will also be responsible for creating monitoring strategies and constantly improving our CI/CD pipeline to deliver software more quickly and accurately.

    You’ll work cross-functionally and become the domain expert when it comes to our Azure Cloud Infrastructure. One big goal for this role is to help prepare DevOps to be a bigger part of coordinating sprint planning. We aim to bring DevOps involvement from informational to guidance on software delivery items.

    You’ll be the go-to resource for providing maintenance and deployment support. You’ll also troubleshoot and resolve application/hosting errors.

    Who you are:

    You are eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

    Previous PowerShell Experience and a desire to automate with PowerShell is essential

    Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts (i.e. ARM templates/AWS Cloud Formation/Terraform/etc.)

    Maintaining CI/CD Pipeline Experience (i.e. Octopus Deploy/Jenkins/TravisCI/Azure DevOps/etc.)

    Azure Service Concepts (App Service, Storage Accounts, SQL, etc.)

    Security Concepts including Asymmetric/Symmetric key usage & encryption and Performance Analysis Skills, Networking concepts

    You have demonstrated skills in teamwork and collaboration

    You gravitate towards a creative problem-solving environment leveraging empirical evidence

    You are highly motivated and self-driven

    Preferred qualifications:

    Experience with Azure PaaS platforms and applications

    Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts (i.e. ARM templates/AWS Cloud Formation/Terraform/etc.)

    Security Concepts including Asymmetric/Symmetric key usage & encryption

    Experience with PCI or similar regulatory requirements

    Moderate Performance Analysis Skills

    Moderate CI/CD Pipeline Experience (i.e. Octopus Deploy/Jenkins/TravisCI/Azure DevOps/etc.)

    Advanced PowerShell Experience, a desire to automate with PowerShell

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
