Vanco is growing rapidly and to help us tackle some of our company’s highest priority projects, we are adding an additional Software Engineer to our team. Join us as we create the next generation of education administration software and develop an application that will be the fastest and most fully-featured in the industry.

We are looking for an experienced developer who has seasoned technical judgment, raw ability to untangle complex problems and the creativity to help us see past initial roadblocks.

This role will work on an Angular-based SPA application built upon a solid base of modern infrastructure and 3rd party components. While at the same time, we employ a number of powerful and robust innovations of our own that allow us to push the envelope and move ahead of the competition.

Our team believes in a respectful and collaborative approach to development. We ask questions and give advice and realize our work is better as a team than on our own. We are committed to agile methodologies, specifically the scrum framework.

We have an office located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, next to many interesting shops and restaurants, and an offshore branch in Cancun, Mexico.

Who you are:

You must be Green Card Holder or US Citizen.

Your degree is a BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience

You have 6 years or more web development experience in a .NET environment (Web Forms and/or Asp.Net MVC)

You have 4 years or more experience with a Relational Database such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL

You have 4 years or more experience with SQL/T-SQL

You have 4 years or more Javascript and/or JQuery

You have 2 years or more experience with a javascript framework such as Angular and/or React, preferred

You have knowledge of software development best practices and principles, including Agile methodologies

You have strong analysis and problem-solving skills

You communicate and collaborate effectively with your team

You are self-directed, detail oriented, creative problem solver

You are flexible to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities
