We are seeking Outreach Workers who will help vulnerable populations flourish through educational, healthcare and assisting in housing by acting as a liaison between New York City Services and the migrant population in NYC. In this role you will help refugee, immigrant and other new arrivals to Queens and Brooklyn navigate the complex educational enrollment system and other services that NYC has set up.

This is a 100% onsite job.

You must have prior experience working in the field of Social Services, Case Management, Case Coordination, Psychology, Sociology or Social Work is a must .

The Bilingual Spanish/English Immigrant Support Specialist, (depending on your experience, education and skills there are three levels of placement) is responsible for providing assistance to the migrant population. Such as; provide information on available resources; legal services, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure that each adult/family or unaccompanied child receives the services they require. You must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers and homeless / displaced people.

Job Qualifications/Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred. Experience will be considered, a degree is preferred.
• Experience working with immigrant populations preferred.
• These positions offer the flexibility of both day and night shifts.
• These are 12 hour shifts.
• Choose between 1-3 shifts per week.
• Locations: All NYC Boroughs.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required ; proficiency in additional languages a plus.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
