    Job Description 

    Complete electrical construction projects by assisting Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of assigned projects from commencement to completion. Projects are to be managed in accordance with Project Milestones in a manner that exceeds our customer’s expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company policies, safety polices and OSHA mandated requirements. Responsibilities Strategy and Planning

     • Ensure that all submittal documents are provided to the Project Manager for submission to the customer. o Includes, but not limited to: ▪ Job specific safety manuals 

    ▪ All material submittals 

    ▪ Units wiring diagrams 

    ▪ Electrical room layouts 

    ▪ Shop drawings for sleeve layouts, conduit layouts, etc. 

    • Obtain all applicable permits for the project Operations

     • Maintain Staffing Schedule of Values (SSOV) payouts and production scheduling daily. o

     Review and track Superintendent and/or Project Coordinator daily logs to ensure production matches what is being reported for labor. o Update schedules regularly to accurately reflect start dates and finish dates of individual SSOV tasks. 

    o Submit SSOV payouts every other Friday by 4pm for Project Manager review and submittal to Project Analyst Department. 

    o Assist in the scheduling of inspections at the direction of the Project Manager and Superintendent. o In the absence of a Project Coordinator, monitor and report inspections via inspections log. 

    • Maintain bill of material daily/weekly (BOM) 

    o Work with Superintendent and/or Project Coordinator to accurately submit material requests to the Regional Purchaser. ▪ Work with Project Manager and Regional Purchaser to ensure proper coding for all material requests. 

    ▪ Confirm material being requested cannot be accounted for on the job site. 

    ▪ Work with Warehouse Manger to identify any excess material that can be utilized in place of ordering new material on all material requests.

     ▪ Monitor weekly inventory cycle counts with Project Manager to identify excess material to be removed from the project.

    ▪ Assist in tracking material deliveries to ensure it reaches the correct location on time. 

    • Assist in preparing Change Order Proposals for Project Manager and Senior Project Manager review by adhering to VKE Change Order policies and procedures. 

    o Review any work authorization or time and material requests to generate Change Order Proposals for Project Manager and Senior Project Manger review and submittal to Vice President of Project Management and President of Business Development for final review and submittal to the customer.

     o Review plan changes, ASI’s and RFI responses to generate a narrative of changes, as well as Change Order Proposals for Project Manager and Senior Project Manager review and submittal to Vice President of Project Management and President of Business Development for final review and submittal to the customer. 

    • Assist Project Manager in problem solving by researching various jurisdiction requirements, NEC code requirements and by generating and submitting RFI’s to the customer. Position Requirements 

    • Sitting for extended periods of time. 

    • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.

     • Visits to construction sites.

     Reporting Relationship This position reports to the Project Manager.
