Job Summary
The candidate will provide SETA support for the acquisition of satellite and ground systems cooperatively with Government, FFRDC, and other SETA contractors. Candidate should be knowledgeable in the areas of systems engineering, satellite vehicle engineering, strategic acquisition and source selection planning. The candidate's responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day collaboration with Government, FFRDC, SETA, developers, and mission partners
Author Government requirements and objectives
Provide technical support in the areas of Engineering, Payload Engineering, Spacecraft Engineering
Participate in government and contractor sponsored technical exchange meetings, design reviews and program reviews
Support requirements studies, independent review teams, integrated product teams, evaluate concepts of operations, evaluate alternative design architectures, identify major technical issues that must be addressed, identify strengths/weaknesses, and recommend technical and programmatic solutions to the government.
Advise senior and mid-level government managers on acquisition decisions regarding complex projects
Provide technical support in developing verification and test approaches as well as reviewing test data for requirements verification
Generate, maintain and manage technical and program documentation, reports, and presentations
Develop presentations and create correspondence that captures and conveys technical analyses and positions in concise and coherent products
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
Experience in engineering and/or acquisition of Intelligence Community (IC) and/or DoD spacecraft systems;
Knowledge of IC and/or DoD acquisition roles, processes, and/or program management;
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment with excellent communication skills; and
Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's STEM degree
Advanced degree
Experience with IC and/or DoD space architectures
Experience working within or closely with the customer's Acquisition Offices
