Product Manager – Variable Frequency Drives

Overview

Growing industrial automation organization seeking a Product Manager – VFD to lead strategy, lifecycle management, and commercial growth for variable frequency drives (VFD) and power quality solutions. This role blends technical expertise with market ownership and sales enablement.

Responsibilities

• Own VFD product lifecycle and portfolio strategy

• Drive revenue, margin, and market share growth

• Support technical sales and customer applications

• Conduct competitive and market analysis

• Lead cross-functional collaboration (engineering, sales, operations)

• Support product launches and go-to-market execution

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience

• 5+ years in industrial automation

• Strong customer-facing and technical selling background

• Hands-on expertise with:

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)

  • Motor control & variable speed systems

  • Power quality, filtering & conditioning

  • Factory automation & process control environments

  • Control loops

Preferred OEM Experience

Experience with major drive manufacturers such as:
ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, Yaskawa, Danfoss, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Omron, Nidec, Lenze, Invertek, or similar.
