    Description:

    We are looking for an experienced rockstar event professional who is excited by the challenge of delivering large scale innovative programs who is ready to roll up their sleeves and jump right in. This position is part of our dynamic Global Public Sector Sales Programs team and will assist in organizing, planning, and managing multiple large-scale events (Salesforce led, Industry 3rd Party, Webinars, Live Demos, Executive Programs, and more) in support of our AMER market. The right candidate will be an organizational wizard with solid communication skills and the flexibility to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines. Role responsibilities include:

    • Manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative and extremely fast paced environment
    • Manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, interactive, marketing ops, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs
    • Demonstrate the ability to lead, influence and work across organizational boundaries, including a broad range of peers and executives
    • Manage event budget effectively and precisely
    • Research and report creative event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget.
    • Provide onsite/virtual event support, registration management and other duties assigned by director of group as necessary
    • Manage and contribute towards creative problem solving
    • Create pre-event planning decks and post-event summary decks for all stakeholders
    • Maintain the event calendar and team/staff schedules
    • Evaluate event performance, post-event ROI tracking, and wrap-up reports
    • Understand the Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
    • Coordinate internal and external meetings including but not limited to team meetings, full staff meetings, vendor meetings, etc.
    • Manage shipping, ordering, and maintaining supplies - when in person events resume
    • Coordinate special event projects
    • General project management
    • Build and maintain team documents, including Excel spreadsheets and Powerpoint decks Experience/Required Skills:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
    • An understanding of the Google office suite, including Sheets, Slides, GCal, etc.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Flexibility, and the ability to jump into (and between) projects as needs as well as the initiative to notice a need and offer assistance where applicable
    • Proven ability to manage projects, adapt under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines
    • Ability and willingness to build new skills and accept new challenges
    • Availability to travel domestically to support onsite event logistics when travel resumes
    • Thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles.
    • Understand event audience acquisition and how to hit registration goals and attendance targets
    • Deep comfort level with program analysis, measurement, budgeting, reporting and pipeline impact.
