Vehicle Installation Contractor – Custom Van Builds

Location: Ozark Region Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Compensation: Project-Based (Up to $45 per hour equivalent based on scope)

Ozark Mountain Van Company specializes in high-quality van installations and custom customizations for individual and commercial clients. We focus on craftsmanship, precision, and technical excellence.

We are building a network of experienced independent contractors for project-based work as demand increases.

Engagement Overview

We are seeking skilled Vehicle Installation Contractors to complete custom van build projects on a per-project basis.

This is an independent contractor engagement. Contractors operate as independent businesses and are responsible for determining the method and means of completing assigned projects in accordance with agreed specifications.

Compensation Structure

Project-based compensation

Project scope and estimated hours are provided in advance

Contractors are paid per completed project based on agreed scope

Example: A suspension installation allocated 20 project hours × agreed rate

Contractors invoice upon completion per agreement.

Project Coordination

Project timelines are coordinated in advance

Contractors determine their working schedule within agreed project deadlines

Work is performed at Ozark’s facility due to specialized equipment and build requirements

Scope of Work

Independent contractors may be engaged to:

Install van components (lighting, wiring, cabinetry, security systems, etc.)

Perform electrical and mechanical installations

Interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation

Conduct quality verification prior to project completion

Contractor Requirements

Demonstrated experience in automotive installation or fabrication

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Working knowledge of 12V systems and wiring

Ability to lift and maneuver vehicle components

Valid driver’s license

Maintain own tools appropriate for project completion

Independent Contractor Status

This engagement is structured as an independent contractor relationship. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses and may perform services for other clients.
