Registered Vascular Technologist
Vascular practice, focused on patients with venous disease is looking for RVT to work in our IAC accredited Vascular Lab and accredited Vein Center. Most being venous studies, but also include the full range of arterial and venous testing.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all vascular studies performed are of optimum quality and providing a quality patient experience.
Greet all patients with a friendly smile, correctly identify patients, prepare patients for ultrasound study
Coordinate with office manager on any operational issues concerning facility issues, and communicate any items of concern in a pro-active manner
Provide accurate coding on all vascular studies for maximum and compliant reimbursement. Coordinate with billing department
Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Document assessment timely and accurately
Perform and interpret vascular examinations
Ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and keep up to date with all system upgrades features.
Travel to satellite offices, with travel reimbursement
Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to IAC, HIPPA, and OSHA guidelines
Maintain RVT vascular testing certification
Promote practice in a positive manner
Skills:
Excellent vascular testing skills including venous, carotid, and arterial studies
Polite, professional and upbeat attitude when dealing with patients and co-workers
Excellent patient interaction skills
Careful attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task seamlessly
Good time management skill
Education/Certification:
Bachelor level degree (preferred)
Registered Vascular Technologist (Required)
BLS Certification (Preferred)
Experience:
·Minimum of 2-3 years in vascular testing
Sonography: 3 years (Preferred)
