Job Description

OVERVIEW :The primary function of this position will be to create and implement Bill of Manufacturing structures to allow for financial planning, engineering, and production. This person will also help to define and implement processes and provide updates to current models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating, Processing, and Maintaining multi-level BOMs utilizing company’s ERP system (IQMS); this also includes Creating and Maintaining routings for BOMs

• Modify/Update existing BOMs to meet the needs of new specific requirements.
• Maintains revision updates through workflow in ERP system in order to obtain appropriate approvals.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing, operations, and planning.
• Developed product cost projections
• Working cross-functionally with Production Engineering and Purchasing to ensure the BOMs has the correct structure as well as correct components and quantities in the system
• Implement product improvement changes.
• Upload BOM's to the ERP system.
• Perform time studies when necessary.

Provides other support to production and management as required.
