Our client, an asset management firm located in NYC with offices in Chicago is currently hiring an experienced C# SQL Server developer with Asset Management experience. This is a 9 month contract with possible extensions and possible Contract to Hire. This position can be situated in NYC or Chicago. Working as part of an agile team this individual will be involved with analysis, design, development & implementation of applications, systems and processes. Applications & systems include Online Client Websites, Client Reporting Systems & Tools, Client Letters, Correspondence & Statements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of application development experience in modern OO languages like C# and SQL Server using enterprise frameworks and design patterns
• Must have a solid understanding & experience of databases, database designs, complex SQL, data transformation, and comprehensive Stored Procedures development
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux
• Familiarity web servers/app servers – IIS, JBOSS/Tomcat etc.
• Familiarity with batch scheduling platforms (i.e. Autosys, Control-M, Tidal)
• Cognos, Vermilion, or any reporting tool experience a plus
• Azure/Git experience is a must
• Informatica knowledge is a plus
• BS/MS in Computer Science or similar discipline
