Velocity Search Group is currently seeking a Jr. ServiceNow Developer for a major media/entertainment firm. This is a 3 month contract that is 100% remote.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Configure, administer and script the ServiceNow platform and will be helping to develop the best technical solutions for the ServiceNow ITSM & ITBM suites as well as the core platform. Design, configure, develop & implement baseline applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
- Provide architectural input and help maintain stability of overall platform by ensuring the appropriate design and development standards are used at all times.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other corporate applications via web services, mid server, email etc.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code and ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and produce releases of software components Core configuration - personalizing forms lists and administering applications modules.
- Ability to manage tables, relationships and metadata in ServiceNow.
- Experience with run book automation, self-service and SN workflows Integration with other ITSM tools
Technical Skills
- Someone who has experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience in Web-Services, Business Rules, JavaScript, AJAX, SOAP, REST/API and custom integrations of ServiceNow to other business applications
- Experience customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly
- Administration and Development of ServiceNow instance including delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI policies, ACL’s, dictionary
- Workflow development and Record Producer development
