    Future in Tech (FiT), a division of Vendor Direct Solutions LLC (VDS), is an information governance software company redefining document lifecycles through seamless innovation.

    We are excited to welcome a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Media Marketing Intern to our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about digital marketing and social media to contribute to our startup's growth and success. As a Social Media Marketing Intern, you will play a pivotal role in managing our LinkedIn presence, creating engaging content, analyzing marketing analytics, and optimizing our social media strategy.

    The Social Media Marketing Intern will report directly to the President of VDS. This is a full-time hybrid position and will require the Social Media Marketing Intern to be in the office 3 times per week.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • LinkedIn Content Creation and Management * Develop compelling and tailored content for LinkedIn posts, articles, and updates to engage our professional audience and promote our brand. * Manage the day-to-day activities on our LinkedIn platform, including scheduling posts, monitoring comments, and responding to inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
    • Strategic Campaign Development * Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute strategic campaigns on LinkedIn to support product launches, events, and promotional initiatives. * Utilize LinkedIn advertising features and targeting options to reach our target audience effectively and drive engagement and conversions.
    • Analytics and Performance Tracking * ​​​​​​​ Monitor and analyze key performance metrics on LinkedIn, such as reach, engagement, click-through rates, and follower growth, using analytics tools and platforms. * Review marketing analytics data regularly to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization, and provide actionable recommendations to improve campaign performance.
    • Content Curation and Industry Insights * ​​​​​​​ Curate relevant industry content and thought leadership articles to share with our LinkedIn audience, positioning our brand as a trusted source of valuable insights and information. * Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media marketing to inform content creation and strategic decision-making.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration * ​​​​​​​ Work closely with the marketing, content creation, and design teams to align LinkedIn content with our overall brand messaging, marketing objectives, and visual identity. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content, customer testimonials, and updates for sharing on LinkedIn, ensuring accuracy and consistency in messaging.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, with a focus on marketing, communications, digital media, or related field.
    • Demonstrated passion for social media marketing, particularly on LinkedIn, and a keen interest in leveraging digital platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and professional content tailored to a business audience.
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using social media analytics tools and platforms to track and measure campaign performance.
    • Creative thinker with a knack for identifying trends, opportunities, and innovative approaches to social media marketing.
    • Proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Previous experience or coursework in social media marketing, content creation, or digital advertising is a plus but not required.
