Vendor Management Associate
Location: NYC or Austin, TX (Remote)

Role Overview
The Vendor Management Associate will oversee large-scale vendor operations supporting Meta’s Developer Ecosystem Success – Integrity team. This role is responsible for managing outsourced vendor teams, ensuring operational excellence, and driving performance against key service-level agreements (SLAs), including CSAT and other scaled KPIs.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations professional with strong experience in vendor management, contract and budget oversight, back-office operations, and data-driven decision-making. This role requires fluency in large data sets, cost modeling, forecasting, and capacity planning. Experience supporting or participating in RFP processes is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Operations Oversight
Manage and oversee vendor agents and outsourced support teams delivering services at scale
Ensure vendor performance meets or exceeds SLAs, including CSAT and operational KPIs
Drive continuous improvement in service quality and efficiency
Contract, Budget & Capacity Management
Oversee contract execution and ongoing vendor compliance
Track operational expenditures (opex), budgets, and forecasts
Lead capacity planning efforts to align vendor staffing with business demand
Back Office & Support Operations
Lead and optimize back-office support ticket workflows
Ensure timely issue resolution and efficient operational execution
Data Analysis & Forecasting
Analyze large, complex data sets to inform cost modeling, forecasting, and planning
Translate data insights into actionable operational improvements
RFP Support
Participate in and support RFP processes, including vendor evaluations and selection
Assist with documentation, analysis, and operational input during procurement cycles
Resource Provisioning & Compliance
Ensure all external resources are provisioned correctly within Meta internal systems
Maintain compliance with Meta policies, access controls, and vendor governance requirements
Vendor Communication & Relationship Management
Own day-to-day communication with a diverse portfolio of vendor partners
Build strong, collaborative vendor relationships to support long-term success
Workflow & Issue Management
Review, prioritize, and track issues impacting vendor operations
Identify root causes and provide scalable, effective solutions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Product, and other stakeholders
Ensure requirements are clearly communicated, implemented, and understood across teams
Tooling, Automation & Process Improvement
Collaborate with tooling teams to define platform designs and automation needs
Continuously improve and optimize internal and external workflows and processes
Skills & Qualifications
7–15 years of experience in vendor operations, vendor management, or operations leadership
Proven experience managing large-scale vendor operations and outsourced support teams
Strong background in contract management, opex/budget tracking, and capacity planning
High proficiency working with large data sets, cost modeling, and forecasting
Experience leading or supporting back-office support ticket processes
Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Experience participating in or supporting RFP processes is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
