  • Responsibilities

    VENN is seeking a Social Brand Specialist who will support in the development of effective branding strategies across our social media platforms. Responsibilities include identifying brand building areas, creating visual branding and brand voice strategies, brand partnerships, ensuring brand consistency, managing VENN's online reputation, and assisting with content management.

    Overall Social Media Brand Strategy

    • Support Social Brand Manager in developing and maintaining VENN's overall social brand strategy and voice
    • Partner with internal teams to achieve evolving business goals through social and O&O digital (web, app, email, etc.) while staying consistent with the brand look and feel
    • Plan, implement, monitor, and report on organic and paid social initiatives and budgets
    • Oversee cross-platform graphic designs/deliverables (i.e. cover/header photos, profile icon photos)

    Social Campaign Management

    • Collaborate with internal teams, brands, and agencies to build and execute cover all social initiatives (web, mobile, video, content creation, creative assets, etc.); providing creative direction and ensuring adherence to brand guidelines, best practices, and company policies
    • Manage set up, monitoring, and reporting of promotional partnership campaigns and activations, ensuring both external and internal teams are meeting necessary deadlines and processes
    • Oversee community management on active social campaigns by analyzing and engaging with asynchronous consumer interaction (i.e. responding to social mentions, inquiries, comments)

    Brand & Influencer Partnership Building

    • Proactively source and identify opportunities with brands and influencers; owning outreach and partnership with potential companies, charities, organizations, influencers, etc. 
    • Bridge relationships between sourced outside talent (influencers, celebrity guests) and studio social team in order for studio social team to provide ongoing talent relations

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

    • Deep knowledge of all social platforms across paid and organic (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok, YouTube, and Discord)
    • Experience developing ideas that forge strong emotional connections between brand and audience
    • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication adaptive to a broad range of audiences
    • Passion for youth and pop culture, gaming, and entertainment
    • Creative problem-solver
    • Passion for collaboration and working in team environments
    • BA/BS (or equivalent practical experience)
    • 3-5 years in digital/social marketing (required) at a network, studio, agency, management company, or game developer (preferred)
    • Proficiency/working knowledge of social management tools and design softwares such as Photoshop
