VENN is seeking Producers to manage live & taped streaming shows in our LA studios that are distributed across all platforms. These are jack-of-all trades hands on producers that will work on all aspects of production including technical production, operations, show rundown, segment creation, development and post-production.

The ideal candidates will have proven track records of creating engaging cross platform programming and understands cost-effective production workflows. Needs to have an affinity for gaming, fandom and pop culture.  Must understand the current gaming/fandom news space and the talent/players in and around it. Must have an eye for pop culture news and the best way to capture and report it. Needs a deep understanding of the distribution process from conception to consumption, including the nuances of reaching audiences on O&O, social platforms, and mobile devices. Most importantly, they will have expertise producing live driven content, events, engaging social content, unlocking talent's creativity, developing cross-platform brands and creating an efficient production process..

Responsibilities:

• Fully produce and manage VENN original programming production (NEWS) as well as accompanying the studio and LIVE teams.  
• Able to evaluate data and drive strategy decisions on an ongoing basis related to production
• Take ownership for content projects seeing them successfully through production.
• Coordinate, track, and manage project resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule and are of top quality.
• Facilitate communications with other producers, production and post-production staff and stakeholders from other teams.
• Source, vet, and manage relationships with external vendors as appropriate in support of content development.
• Help build and curate internal and external resources (production companies, support groups, etc)
• Assist in budget planning as well as execution of budget.
• Take responsibility for finding appropriate solutions to problems and challenges as they arise within the group.
• Provide clear direction to support team members and regular updates to stakeholders
• Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment.

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years of equivalent production experience
• Must have strong budget creation and management skills
• Can multi task in a fast pace production environment.
• Working knowledge of Live Broadcast workflows and practices.
• Experience in managing large quantities of assets and complex project schedules
• Journalism degree is a bonus. 
• Script Writing 
• Experience with comedy/variety show is a bonus 
• Network or cable experience producing LIVE quality broadcast content (Daily/Weekly)
• Must have a passion for gaming, fandom, and pop culture news.  Must be able to write, edit, and approve scripts.  
• Ability to guide projects from inception through post.
• Have a working knowledge of esports/gaming landscape and strategies.
• Must be able to implement structure and workflow solutions.
• Ability to liaise with talent
• Able to create/ produce show rundowns and manage a show team.
• Be flexible in your work schedule (Events/Broadcast on nights and weekends)
• Work with multiple teams of VENN employees, contractors, and vendors working on multiple franchise esports productions.
• Able to work well with others in a diverse and fast-paced environment
• Experience facilitating teams and delivering products on time 
• Able to facilitate and mediate between members of the development and support teams
• Strong ownership and responsibility for the work they are responsible for
• Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative

Scope of Work:

• Responsible for producing, shooting and over seeing editing content for the VENN Network sales content requests, and other content assigned.
• Will work closely with the VENN Network development team providing video support
• Point producer for specific VENN network programming and content execution.
• Will work closely with the Los Angeles production team on content execution for the VENN Network  
• Must be able to shift and be flexible with work hours to accommodate East coast and West coast time zones.
• Shooting as well as traveling for those shoots and event coverage is occasionally required.  
• Works directly with VENN team leaders on creative, delivery, and approvals. 
• As a producer, come up with content ideas, write scripts, and pitch content to team leaders.
