As the Development Coordinator at VENN you will be a key partner in our original show development supporting the Development and Talent teams.
This position will:
- Maintain a calendar of all show related milestones and events throughout the year.
- Set external and internal meetings with talent, management, production companies and internal stakeholders
- Track ideas, submissions, talent, shows in development and other projects
- Conduct deep research on talent, creative, show formats, tech and more
- Research and evaluate shows for potential acquisition
- Attend meetings and brainstorms, taking detailed notes and sharing concise and actionable recaps
- Have a voice in the creative process bringing a unique point-of-view
- Be able to work to nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Collaborate with a cross-discipline group of development, talent, production and marketing executives
Minimum qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in entertainment at an agency, management company, studio, network or production company
- You have your finger on the pulse of pop culture, gaming culture and social media
- Bachelor's degree in film/tv, creative writing, journalism, marketing, or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent written communication, organization and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail is required
Note: This role is a full-time W-2 role but has a defined end date
