  • Responsibilities

    VENN is seeking a Social Coordinator, Studio to assist in crafting and publishing compelling social media content, sharing social content during our shows (LIVE), and playing an active role in engaging with the VENN community.

    Overall Social Media Support

    • Collaborate with Social Producer, Studio and Production to execute on overall social content development, community strategy, and executing tactics
    • Capture content and provide social coverage in studio 
    • Assist in social asset development on Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator (light to proficient experience) and Premiere (bonus but not necessary)
    • Clipping and optimizing shows for real-time social sharing as needed
    • Act as a creative thinker with strong writing skills with a clear, natural style and sense of humor
    • Recognizing company branding and aesthetic guidelines and maintaining consistency

    On-air Social Duties 

    • Pull social activity to publicize on-air in templated key art/frames
    • Collect timestamps of real-time noteworthy moments to pass on to social editor
    • Collect and manage live data from online community polls, interactive hashtags, and chat comments to be formatted for immediate on-air use
    • Maintain and organize all on-air social content within asset libraries

    Audience & Community Communication

    • Communicate with community on Twitch and Discord daily
    • Monitor real time feedback and social conversations through social listening tools for Twitter, Instagram, etc., plus Twitch and Discord and pass on to relative internal teams
    • Schedule and provide support for social platform takeovers by talent/staff and AMAs

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Qualifications

    • Proficient knowledge of all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok, YouTube, and Discord) and the media/entertainment landscape
    • Demonstrated understanding of how audiences engage with social media platforms
    • Strong interpersonal and creative writing skills
    • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication adaptive to a broad range of audiences
    • Passion for youth and pop culture, gaming, and entertainment
    • Strong knowledge in what's trending and new on social
    • Passion for collaboration and working in team environments
    • A proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Eager, can-do positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful and flexible
    • BA/BS (or equivalent practical experience)
    • 1-3+ years in digital/social marketing, production, live broadcasting, film/television, and/or content development (preferred)
    • Proficiency/working knowledge of social management tools, design softwares (Adobe Photoshop), and video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, iMovie, etc.), and/or video publishing tools preferred
