JOB DESCRIPTION Our Seattle WA Healthcare client is actively looking for a Healthcare Business Analyst, in a 6-month contract to hire position to act as a liaison between the business units, project management and the IT developers supporting projects, data management, reporting solutions, and application development. The team needs to add a strong Business Analyst with great people, leadership, and project management skills. Someone who has great understanding and experience with the best practices of business analysis. All the BAs on the Datawarehouse team need to work with the businesspeople on a regular basis and also have the ability to lead a project, process, discussion, interview, and problem solving, etc.
This position will be located downtown Seattle although the expectation is 100% remote and this candidate can be located in any state in the US, as long as you are willing to work PST.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS:
Required Skills : Prior Related Experience 5-7 years experience in healthcare, preferably in the Health Plan, Healthcare Payer, or MCO. Basic understanding of data warehousing techniques is required, though these are not necessarily very strong technical skills. DBA knowledge is preferred, but not required. Basic SQL skills are required for understanding of data and data warehouse, such as data profiling, data mapping, data research, and troubleshooting. Strong experience working with business users, collecting requirements and understanding the health plan concepts and terminology. Experience leading small projects (looking for some basic to advanced Project Management experience) Understanding SSIS (what SSIS is and how it works) is needed. Education: Bachelors Degree in CS or MIT or something similar Nice to have: Scrum/Agile experience (this is a new area they are stepping into) BASIC QUALIFICATION : ADDITIONAL SKILLS : Rank :C1 Requested Date :2021-02-25
